The fifi foundation was formed in late 2006 by 10 women from the Sydney finance industry who had the common goal of wanting to put something back into the local community

Four loose criteria have been established to look at charities that should be supported. They are:

1. Charities that fly under the radar (i.e. ones that don't already have big corporate sponsors).
2. Charities that are involved in working with families.
3. Charities that may have an educational focus.
4. Charities that are local so the foundation can get involved on a more personal level.

The goal is to raise much needed funds for these charities but also to provide them with a profile
